This is a photoshop template for use with designing websites based on the 978 grid system.

I created this, because I was frustrated at the 960 grid, and found the 978 grid much, much easier to use. This template provides a photoshop template with 12 colums at 54px, with 30px gutter space between each. This grid is based on works from the Web Designer’s Wall.

Also, it features horizontal guides at 18px, which is based on the wonderful works of Richard Rutter’s “Compose to a Vertical Rhythm.” I reccomend checking out his post, it is a way we should all be thinking when developing websites.
